Pat Bowe was elected chairman of the board of The Andersons, Inc. in May 2024 after serving as president and CEO from November 2015 to October 2024. He previously served as corporate vice president of Cargill, Inc., and as one of the leaders of the company’s Food Ingredients and Systems platform. Pat has over 40 years of experience in the agricultural sector with a proven track record across diverse businesses domestically and abroad, including responsibilities for plant operations in Brazil, overseeing merchandising, milling, and food safety, as well as commodity trading and hedging. Pat currently serves on the board of King Ranch, an 825,000-acre diversified agribusiness in Texas. He previously served on the publicly traded board of United Malt Group, the fourth largest commercial maltster globally. Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University and a master’s degree from the Stanford Food Research Institute.
