Maany Peyvan is the founding principal of Driven LLC, a consultancy that supports mission-driven leaders and organizations. He most recently served in the Biden-Harris Administration as a Senior Policy Advisor in the White House Climate Policy Office, following roles as Senior Director for Communications and Policy—and earlier, Director of Speechwriting—for USAID Administrator Samantha Power. While at USAID, Maany helped guide the strategic realignment of the global food security initiative, Feed the Future, as well as launch the FASA Fund which unlocks capital for agricultural small businesses in Africa. Prior to that, Maany served in various roles at the Obama Foundation, Google, and YouTube. Maany holds an M.A. (with distinction) from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and daughter.
