

Tanner Roark brings more than 10 years of experience in food security, resilience, and climate change programming. He serves as the Senior Technical Advisor for Sustainable Livelihoods and Resilience at World Vision, where he supports sector strategy development, provides technical assistance, and advocates for improved global food security policy. Previously, Tanner held multiple technical positions at Global Communities, where he co-led the establishment of the organization’s Climate Action focus area and led new business development efforts across three continents. Tanner is passionate about regenerative agriculture, having worked on farms throughout the Midwest and East Africa for six seasons. He is also active in urban agriculture initiatives in Washington, DC, including serving on the board of the Mamie D. Lee Community Garden for three years. Tanner lives in Washington, DC with his wife.
