

Alex Cherry is a recent dual degree MPP/MEM graduate from Yale passionate about scaling regenerative agriculture and strengthening sustainable food security around the world through equitable and effective policy, financing, and governance. He currently works at Food System 6 on programs developing innovative financing mechanisms to support regenerative farmers in the U.S. Previously, he worked in short term positions at the Rockefeller Foundation, TNC, and FAO, co-founded an executive functioning coaching, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sustainable Agriculture Systems in Benin, West Africa. His skills include policy research and analysis, project and strategic management, organizational development, project finance, writing and editing for various audiences, and intercultural communication and inclusion. He speaks fluent Italian and French, and intermediate Spanish and Arabic, among other languages.
